Understanding Predation + Scottish Land & Estates

This is an extract from the Newsletter published by Scottish Land & Estates:

"BBC Radio Scotland Out of Doors programme recorded an interview with Tim Baynes who has represented Scottish Land & Estates on the project steering group for the last two years. It will be on air at 6.30 on Saturday morning. Understanding Predation is a collaborative project, and the report is stage one in a process of developing mechanisms to deal with sometimes very divisive differences on predation management. Some commentators and media, used to controversy on this issue, will find it difficult to grasp the level of collaboration already built up, but the key points in the report are agreed by everyone involved and there is a collective will to go onto the next stage and tackle urgent issues of declining prey species and increased predators. This must be led and developed while the momentum is there."
